We are called to mentor and train future indigenous leaders. As part of this calling we are planning on offering our third YWAM DTS here in Chepo in October of 2016.
This training program includes 3 months of classroom training, plus two months of cross cultural outreach. This DTS will be held in the context of the indigenous community, in order to remove as many barriers as possible for our students. The program will be held mainly in Spanish, with small group activities in our student's native language.
In most contexts, the DTS costs thousands of dollars for students to attend. We desire to drastically lower that price through using local resources and looking for creative fund raising strategies. Our projected cost for this DTS is less than $4,000 US.

Although this DTS is designed primarily for Panama's indigenous people, we would welcome others who would like to attend. As there will be no English translation, all non-Spanish speakers should come ready for a full immersion experience.
